Addy and I love to sit outside on days like today! She picks up every leaf and takes it and puts it in the pool. It makes me a bit worried she might fall in...so I took her pic today. These pics remind me of a JC Penny add or something. LOL Colby has strep so he is inside playing his Wii. That is his fav. past time these days!

Praise the Lord!!

I wanted to share my good news!! I was offered a job today with TG (the sales and marketing side of the hair salon of Toni and Guy) Yes that would mean free hair products and cuts and colors! :-) I would be the executive assistant to the president of TG.
I have also been working with anther company that I go back to meet on Tuesday. They are bringing in the CEO and EVP to meet me!! According to the reqtr. the other company called Greystone is prepaired to make an offer the same day if the CEO and EVP approve of me. I have met the president and he seems to like me and is a super nice guy. How awesome is it that?!?! Not only did God provide me with a job but with choices! Please pray with me that Gods helps me choose the right path when selecting my new job!

We went to the zoo for a B-day party and oh the fun!! Todd had to work OT this weekend so I was sad but we still had a great time! Colby had the camera almost the whole day and took all the pics of the animals. He did a great job! Here are some of the pics. Thanks Jess for having is... what a great idea for a B-day party!

An AWESOME 30 B-day party!!

My birthday party was soooo awesome! Great dinner, great freinds, and a great concert!! I got to go back stage and meet Chris Cagle! That was the best part! It will be a night I will never forget!!! Now if i can just find a job!

Little Addy found one of my old Coach purses in my closet. She had a blast walking all over the house with her new designer bag! LOL LOVE IT... but really... does it start THIS early??

So the Mortgage business SUCKS

I got laid off Friday!
I go to work Friday like any normal day then at 10 am I get a meeting planner for a conference call for 11:30 .... I knew what was about to happen!! So there I was on a conference call with about 25 other people getting the bad news. Telling us business sucks and we are all losing out jobs. What they did is combine several departments therefore eliminating jobs.

I am at one of my "girl parties" yesterday and I get a phone call. It is this lady I work (worked) with she is an Admin too. Well she got to keep her job.... she called asking if anyone has told me how the new department was going to be structured?!?! WELL NO... I left work crying as soon as I got my news!! (she knew that) She continued tell me that she was SO happy to support Mike (my OLD boss) now... Well GEE THANKS FOR CALLING ...REALLY!! I was SOOOO MAD my blood was boiling!! Oh yeah one more thing that stinks... I have to go to work tomorrow! My last working day is the 31st! COME ON REALLY!?!?! You want me to sit in my desk and be productive?? I don't think that is possible! Not to mention sitting next to that lady that called me to BRAG she still has a job. I think that if she is going to start doing my job on the 1st she might as well start NOW! RIGHT? I need to be looking for a job.... not sitting at my desk TRYING to look busy! Ok last thing that stinks is I carry the insurance on my WHOLE family. Yes Todd's work offers insurance it but it is A LOT of money so avoiding that would be awesome.
Anyways thanks for listening to me vent! Please pray with me that God leads me to my new BETTER job quickly!
